I am a senior producer, presenter and director, with experience working at some of the UK’s most exciting media companies.

After studying ancient history for five years, gaining a BA from the University of Exeter and an MPhil from the University of Oxford, I became a digital journalist. Based in the fast-paced ITV Newsroom, I worked as a producer covering some of the biggest news events of the last decade.

I went on to specialise in news on social media, becoming Senior Digital Producer at ITN Productions. Here I ran a suite of YouTube channels covering global news, entertainment and the Royal Family, adding 1.5 million subscribers across our brands. I also presented and produced ‘Newsbites’ for Discovery Education, a ten-minute weekly news bulletin for KS1 and KS2 children.

In 2021 I was able to combine three of my favourite things in one profession: production, social media and history. As Head of Social Video at History Hit, I was not only able to launch and grow the company’s social media channels, but also earned my spurs as a director and documentary filmmaker. If you watch my showreel, you can probably see how much fun we had making series’ like ‘Could You Survive?’

On top of this, I have had over 200 articles published in Men’s Health magazine as a freelance features writer. I’ve been able to interview world renowned athletes and explorers, test out the latest gadgets, visit cutting edge fitness facilities and train with the Royal Marines.

I am currently writing a book about Nerva, Rome’s thirteenth Caesar.
